Advisor, Monitoring and Reporting – 18 months fixed-term

We're looking for a passionate individual to join us for eighteen months in our Wellington office.
As Advisor, Monitoring and Reporting, you'll work closely with the Director, Business Planning and Performance to support business and operational planning and to monitor progress of the business plan and delivery of audits on time and to budget.
To succeed in this role, you'll have:
- an understanding of New Zealand's system of government, the role of Parliament, and the role of the Auditor-General within that system;
- experience working with, preparing, and delivering performance information, and supporting business planning and/or project delivery;
- experience working in audit organisations, or an understanding how audit firms or similar organisations operate;
- excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and with internal and external stakeholders;
- excellent Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with different types of business reporting applications (e.g. PowerBI); and
- strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
You'll also need a relevant tertiary qualification and three years' experience working with data or financial information, preferably in the public sector.

The expected annual salary for this role is between $108,000 and $128,000.
