About the Team/Service

Breast Screen Aotearoa (BSA) is a breast cancer screening programme providing mammograms every two years for eligible women aged 45-69 years. There are eight providers covering New Zealand, of which Breast Screen Midland is one. Breast Screen Midland (BSM) covers the geographic boundaries of the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Lakes District regions. BSM currently offers this service from eight fixed sites across the region and is supported by two mobiles that travel around the region providing accessibility for rural women.

About you

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

  • Ideally you will have a post-graduate diploma in Mammography, or willing to train
  • MRTB APC
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication
  • An interest in promoting women's health and well-being, Knowledge of Te Reo and be especially willing to embrace Tikanga Maori.
