About the Role
As our Programme Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving programmes that make a real difference. You will:
- Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of impactful health improvement programmes at local, regional, and national levels
- Partner with clinicians, iwi-Māori partnership boards, community providers, and internal teams to co-design solutions that truly meet community needs
- Bring structure and clarity by applying proven programme and project management methodologies
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement in how health services are delivered
- Support and mentor project teams, building capability and confidence across the organisation
About You
You're an experienced leader who thrives on collaboration and delivering results that matter. You will bring:
- At least 5 years' experience in the health sector and/or managing health-related programmes
- A strong track record of leading complex programmes in a healthcare environment
- A genuine understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to achieving equitable health outcomes
- A recognised programme/project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP) or equivalent experience
- Experience with improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or the Model for Improvement
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- The ability to navigate change with confidence and deliver in a fast-paced environment
