The Role: This role is split with 0.4 FTE Invasive Coronary Angiography and 0.6 FTE CT Coronary Angiography.

We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Clinical Specialty Nurse (CSN) to join our dynamic Cardiology Service.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence clinical practice, lead innovation, and support excellence in cardiac care for one of Aotearoas most diverse and vibrant communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and evaluate complex referrals and ensure seamless coordination across the health continuum.
  • Apply critical thinking to support early intervention and optimise patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical pathways, protocols, and standards of practice.
  • Coach, mentor, and support nursing staff across the sector.
  • Participate in audits, research, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

About You:

  • NZ Registered Nurse with current Practicing Certificate
  • Minimum of three years acute cardiology experience, post registration in NZ
  • Proficient level or above current PDRP
  • Excellent communication skills
