About the Role
This is an interesting and diverse role which provides great opportunity to broaden your knowledge in rage of different systems and processes.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Work closely with both the Operations Manager of Women's Health Service, Midwife Managers and the Nurse Manager of the Integrated Operations Centre to ensure the needs of the service are met
- Has the ability to manage your workload and to work under timeframes to deliver great service.
- Works cohesively with the service administrators to help provide timely, professional and high-quality administration to the service.
- Who is ambitious and can provide improvement where necessary
- Has the ability to navigate and manage database systems
This role operates Monday to Friday during standard office hours, with a total of 28 hours per week, distributed as follows: Monday (8 hours), Tuesday (6 hours), Wednesday (day off), Thursday (8 hours), and Friday (6 hours).
The salary band for this position is $72,035 - $79,573 (pro rata), depending on experience.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Women's Health Service is a tertiary provider of Obstetrics and Gynaecology services. Services are provided over three sites; Wellington, Kenepuru and Paraparaumu.
About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is able to work cohesively with the other administrators of the service to provide the smooth running of every day. If you are an organised individual with administration experience, this interesting role could be for you.
Skills and experience must include:
- High level of communication - oral and written
- Advanced computing and data handling skills
- Database system administration
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret situations which may not fall in your field of work
- HR Administration such as employment document preparation and on-boarding management
- Processing invoices and expenses
- Experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive information
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of administration management
- Meeting co-ordination including agenda preparation and minute taking
- Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate to a wide range of staff from a variety of backgrounds and culture.
