Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand | Counties Manukau is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and community-based rehabilitation services. You will support people recovering from injury, illness, or neurological conditions, helping them maximise their independence and quality of life. Community-based work may involve visiting patients in their homes to deliver personalised rehabilitation programmes.
You will work both independently and as part of a highly skilled interdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with patients, whānau, and colleagues to achieve meaningful rehabilitation outcomes.

There may also be opportunities to contribute to the supervision and development of rotational physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and physiotherapy students.
You will be supported by experienced physiotherapists, your Section Head, and the wider rehabilitation team. We foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, encouraging staff to develop their skills and expertise while delivering high-quality patient-centred care.
Essential
- A minimum of one year experience in a rehabilitation setting
- NZ Registered Physiotherapist with current practising certificate
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to client centred rehabilitation
- Full current driver's license
Desirable
- Experience supervising
- Experience working with people with neurological and vestibular conditions
- Experience in amputee rehabilitation
