About the Role

As a Registered Nurse with Child, Adolescent & Family Services (CAFS), you will provide comprehensive mental health nursing care to children, young people, and their whānau within the community. Using your clinical expertise, you will undertake assessments, develop and implement care plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and support positive health and wellbeing outcomes for tāngata whaiora and their families.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Ngā Harakeke Mai Rongokako | Child, Adolescent & Family Services (CAFS) provides specialist mental health services for children, adolescents, and their whānau across Hawke's Bay. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering compassionate, culturally responsive, and person-centred care that supports young people to thrive.

About you

As a Registered Nurse, you will bring:

• Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Experience working in community mental health and addictions services, ideally with at least three years' experience.
• A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and improving outcomes for Māori.
• Strong communication, assessment, and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and provide recovery-focused care.

Desirable:

• A current PDRP portfolio.
• A postgraduate qualification in Mental Health and Addictions.
