Applications are invited from suitably experienced Psychologists or those working towards registration to join our Hawke’s Bay team.
The successful applicants will work primarily with children and young people who have severe and challenging behaviours. From time to time the successful applicants may also work with students who receive support from the Ongoing Resourcing Scheme where they present with difficult and challenging behaviour. The work will involve a range of assessment and intervention services, and includes establishing effective relationships with parents, families, whānau, educators and others working in the community. Skills in applied behaviour analysis and educational assessment are required for these positions and a demonstrated ability to apply these skills within a contextual framework. Ideally the successful applicants would be able to work effectively across both school and early childhood sectors.
Applicants must have a current driver’s licence.
