Job Description

We're seeking Physiotherapists to join our patient focused team in a full time, permanent contract.

The rotations at this level are 6 months or 12 months if you are placed in the Spinal Injuries Unit.

As we help you explore the avenues towards specialisation you'll have opportunity to work through placements in Musculoskeletal (Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Acute Orthopaedics, Burns & Plastics,) Neurology (Spinal Injuries Unit, Stroke Unit, Brain Injury Rehabilitation) and Respiratory (ICU, General Surgery, Acute General Medicine, Cardiology/Cardiothoracic Surgery) together with general specialties of Pain Management and Community Therapy Teams across our sites at Christchurch Public and Women's Hospitals, Burwood Hospital and our Community Teams.

You'll work in a friendly team and enjoy the support of senior colleagues as you rotate through these specialty placements. You will in turn support your new graduate physiotherapy colleagues and students.

Working together in the multidisciplinary environment and in a DHB offering work in a large tertiary hospital and specialist rehabilitation facilities, you'll have plenty of learning and development opportunities - take advantage of what we have to offer!

Your passion and enthusiasm for your career will shine through and we're looking forward to watching you flex those thinking muscles by taking on more responsibility.

To be considered for this role you MUST already hold NZ registration and be legally eligible to work in New Zealand.

Enquiries should be directed to Heather Ewing, Recruitment Specialist, email heather.ewing@cdhb.health.nz.
