Note: The working hours are sixteen per week. The preferred daily routine is mornings of four hours each day Monday to Thursday and all day Friday.

Do you have book keeping type skills, knowledge and experience? You will also need excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills both written and oral and be self motivated.  If so, then the Non Public Funds position at Operational Support Flight Woodbourne, RNZAF Base Woodbourne, could be for you.

This position is responsible for the financial administration and support of allocated Non Public Fund entities for Base Woodbourne.  This position is also responsible for the provision of advice to fund committees and treasurers of minor NPF entities.   

In this role your proven customer service skills, excellent organisational skills, and ability to act with a high degree of integrity and personal responsibility will be valuable.  Experience in a book keeping role, a high level of computer literacy and working knowledge of the Health and Safety/Privacy & Information Acts would be highly desirable.

Candidates must be capable of and prepared to carry out the duties of other Base Woodbourne NPF positions in their absence and be prepared to increase days of employment from two to three per working week (40% to 60%) on a permanent basis should this be required.

Low level Security Clearance

  • most preferably a NZ citizen, who has resided in this country continuously for at least the last five years, OR
  • is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last five years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, the United Kingdom (UK) or the United States of America (USA); and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at this level.
