The Education Workforce is part of Early Learning and Student Achievement Group supports the building of a workforce with the capability and capacity to lift student achievement. The group is comprised of teams for workforce strategy and planning, scholarships and awards and employment relations, including bargaining.
About the role
The Senior Adviser is responsible for the delivery of scholarships, study awards, sabbaticals and selection processes for high profile allowances. These awards and processes help to ensure a strong supply of high quality early learning to senior secondary teachers and leaders that are focused on supporting students to lift achievement.
About the person
You are an experienced Adviser who understands the context for this work. You are able to take pieces of work, figure out what to do, monitor progress against plan and it take to completion. You have experience in leading and working in project teams as well as working with stakeholders.
The ideal person has outstanding influencing skills and an ability to develop trusted relationships with a broad range of people.
The environment is fast paced and you must be agile and responsive while also delivering quality work.
