We can offer all of the above to an enthusiastic, versatile and highly motivated special education adviser. 


You will provide early and ongoing support to children with high and often complex needs in educational settings.  You will have had significant recent experience in working with students with high and complex needs and have thorough working knowledge of the New Zealand educational context.  You will work in multidisciplinary teams providing  key-worker co-ordination, a range of assessment, adaptations,  intervention and training services.


You will have:

  • Teacher registration with at least three years successful teaching experience
  • Post-graduate qualifications in education/special education and/or psychology/educational psychology
  • A current driver’s licence


  Relevant experience in NZ education and Special Education is preferred


Knowledge of tikanga and Te reo Māori would be an advantage, given our commitment to the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
