Mobility and Innovation encompasses the Mobility and Continuous Improvement groups.  We are a small team, part of the recently reorganised Strategy Group which provides services to the Commissioner, the Police Executive team, and the wider Police organisation. It is an exciting group that is successfully contributing to making New Zealanders be safe and feel safe.

 

We have an opportunity for you to join our group in the position of Administration Officer.  You will provide comprehensive administration services that support the efficient and effective functioning of the Mobility and Innovation Group. 

 

This is a position where you will be expected to bring experience in office administration systems, including supporting a senior manager and staff with routine administration, assist with projects and processes, as well as being proficient with office computer systems.  Other key attributes to ensure success in this role are that you:

 

  • have good communication skills,
  • be friendly and approachable,
  • work well in a team environment,
  • are able to multitask and manage time effectively,
  • possess proficient computer skills, and experience in key Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • have a high level of self-motivation and initiative.

 

This role has taken on a number of secretariat type roles, therefore minute taking ability would be beneficial.
