WelTec International

Are you a highly organised and efficient administrator with excellent computer, data-entry, word processing and database skills, who has a genuine interest in education and international student recruitment? Would you enjoy the challenge of understanding and managing the international student application process?

WelTec is seeking an efficient, positive, well-organised administrator who likes the challenge of managing high volumes of work and enjoys the buzz of working within a team to reach high standards and outcomes.

Team Culture:

WelTec International has responsibility for telling the WelTec story offshore, attracting international students, building international business and achieving stretch recruitment targets. Our current Student Admissions Officer Lily is transferring to another department at WelTec, and we are seeking a new administrator to take up this key role. 

Position Details:

Working closely with internal and external partners, the Admissions Officer assesses and processes international student applications and ensures prospective students and their representatives receive timely application and admissions information and advice, and superior, customer-focused enrolment services.

This role requires the following key skills and attributes: 

  • Minimum two years’ experience in an administrative role; recent experience in administration of student admissions/enrolments in a tertiary education environment a distinct advantage
  • Excellent spoken and written English, and numeracy skills; proficiency in a language other than English an advantage
  • Demonstrated proficiency and speed in data entry, keyboard, word processing: ability and experience in use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint; possession of relevant qualifications and/or training a distinct advantage
  • Demonstrated efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail in previous roles
  • Ability to think analytically, and to practically and effectively solve problems with a minimum of assistance.
