Team Leader - Web and Publishing


Central Agencies Shared Services (CASS) is a unit of the Treasury that provides corporate services to the three central agencies: the Treasury, State Services Commission and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.

Our Web and Publishing team is responsible for the delivery of website and publishing services to support the organisational strategies of all three agencies. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive Team Leader to join our team to deliver a client-focused service. This team lead role offers responsibility and variety, working in a dynamic and innovative shared services environment.

To excel in this role, you will have proven yourself:

  • As an experienced Team Leader, having provided guidance and direction, developed work plans and assigned resources
  • To be practical, proactive and solution focused
  • As a smart thinker, who challenges the status quo and looks for bold innovative solutions
  • To work well with customers and key stakeholders, establishing effective relationships
  • To exhibit solid experience in leading, developing and coaching direct reports
  • To working well in an evolving environment where you enjoy driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • As having a highly developed aptitude for all things design, web, intranet and publishing
  • To have a strong customer focus and be continuously thinking of the experience of the end user

In this role we are looking to you to effectively improve the capability and performance of the team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to how we deliver future web and publishing services in the shared services environment. You will contribute to strategies and long term plans and continually seek opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the central agencies web sites and intranets.
