As part of the Sensitive Claims Unit you'll be supporting clients of all ages and backgrounds who make a claim as a result of sexual abuse. We have a leading client-centric integrated service and operating model which has been very successful and as a result, we have three permanent positions that have been created to provide administrative support throughout the process, as well as answer routine queries from clients and providers where required.
As a Case Officer, you'll be reviewing letters, applications and reports, ensuring client privacy, assisting case owners to efficiently organise and coordinate assessments or other provider services, as well as obtaining client information. You will also be responsible for a variety of additional administrative tasks including printing, records management and data entry.
You will use your strong administrative skills, initiative, high throughput and attention to detail to support the efficient processing of claims. With a demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes quickly, you will hit the ground running. Your flexibility will allow you to adapt to the changing needs of clients. All of this, combined with your strong customer service skills and excellent spoken and written communication, will make a real different to clients in need.

The starting salary for this position is $45,348 for this role depending on skills and experience. This is the base salary on our R3 Package and is exclusive of ACC's 9% superannuation. All permanent staff within the Sensitive Claims Unit receive 5 weeks Annual Leave per year.
This is a full time, 40 hour week position. The core work hours are, Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm.
