Then a role in our Secondary Data Management (SDM) team at NZQA might be the one for you.

The SDM team is responsible for managing the flow of entry and result data between New Zealand and Pacific Secondary providers and NZQA. The team works closely with Schools and Tertiary providers, Universities, Software Management System (SMS) Suppliers, the Ministry of Education and numerous other internal and external clients, to ensure quality outcomes for students.

As a Secondary Data Liaison Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of schools and assisting with all their NCEA and New Zealand Scholarship data and fees related needs
  • Providing information and advice to numerous external and internal customers
  • Ensuring the accuracy of entry, result and qualification data for candidates
  • Continuously improving and documenting what we do and the way we work
  • Administering various supporting processes of the Secondary Assessment Cycle including data entry and database management, financial administration, billing enquiries, candidate applications and much more.
