Advisor, Operational Improvement, Corporate, National Office


The Operational Improvement team in the Corporate group is looking for an Advisor to join their high performing and enthusiastic team.  The Operational Improvement team works on projects aimed at improving practices in the Ministry and providing better value for money for our customers.  The role offers you the opportunity to work on major projects alongside colleagues from all disciplines across the Ministry.  The Advisor also provides support to the Deputy Secretary Corporate and works closely with the Deputy Secretary’s leadership team.  Additional specific responsibilities include responding to official correspondence and contributing to planning and internal and external performance reporting. 

We are looking for someone who can manage a variety of tasks over the course of a day and has the flexibility to respond to changing priorities.  This is an opportunity to be part of a busy and engaged team where you will be well-supported by experienced colleagues who will help you to perform to the best of your ability.  To be successful in this role you’ll have a desire to learn, excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound relationship management skills, and a strong customer focus.  You will be analytical, have strong problem solving and analysis skills, and an eye for detail.
