Speech-Language Therapist Positions – South Canterbury
Applications are invited from qualified Speech-Language Therapists for this position based in the Timaru office. The successful applicant will be required to provide services to children (3-5 years) and school aged students with disabilities and/or communication difficulties. The work will involve working in multi-disciplinary collaborative teams and includes establishing effective relationships with parents, families and whānau, educators and others working in the community.
Applicants need to have excellent teaming, interpersonal and written and oral communication skills. The ability to be able to work effectively with children, parents, whanau, caregivers, teachers and other specialists is essential. Prior experience in with MOE, Special Education office is desirable.

A current driver’s licence is essential. Applicants should be eligible for membership of the NZSTA.
