Job Description

We have an opportunity for you to join our Procurement Services Team based at the National Accounting Centre, Rotorua.

This team provides accurate, timely and customer focussed payment services to all Ministry of Social Development staff and its service lines throughout New Zealand.

  • Do you make an effort to listen and understand your customer, anticipate their needs and give high priority to customer satisfaction? 
  • Do you accomplish small and large tasks by paying attention to detail? 
  • Do you evaluate situations to identify problems and opportunities in the course of your day to day work?
  • Do you set high goals or standards to achieve for yourself? 
  • Do you actively participate in the development of an effective team environment and culture? This will include a high level of self-awareness of your own learning styles, communication needs and behaviours?  
  • Are you ready to work in an agile environment?   

We are looking for someone who can step in and be a part of a close knit, high performing financial operations team. If this sounds like you, our successful applicant will need to demonstrate some previous experience that is transferable to this role, and/or be highly motivated to learn.
