Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity in the Food and Beverage group supporting positive changes to the way we, and others, do things in the food safety and suitability system.

A critical part of the food safety and suitability system is ensuring that agencies and people performing functions on our behalf, such as evaluating food control plans or verifying food businesses are meeting their responsibilities, are competent and supported to meet our performance expectations. The Adviser or Senior Adviser Recognised Persons Liaison will provide appropriate support, resources, training, advice and ongoing communication to contribute to managing the performance of the people recognised to undertake activities on MPI's behalf. This role is the key day-to-day contact point between people recognised as evaluators and verifiers and MPI.

We're looking for energetic, adaptable, innovative people people that:

  • Have experience in evaluation, verification and recognition systems.
  • Have great relationship and communication skills
  • Are comfortable initiating, influencing and managing change.
