In the Transport Access Delivery Group, our aim is to provide transport system surety through effective compliance processes, monitoring and management.

The role

You will use your regulatory and policy background to lead the development and maintenance of regulatory compliance frameworks, systems and processes that secure the integrity of regulatory systems and are responsive to risk. You will provide advice on the application of these to specific contexts and issues and work with key stakeholders both internally and across the transport and regulatory industry. You will have the opportunity to work to enhance the regulatory capability of the Transport Agency, as well as lead a team.

What you will bring

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • People leadership experience
  • Extensive experience working within a regulatory environment
  • Experience in public policy and/or compliance modelling, monitoring and management functions
  • Experience in managing a compliance function in a large complex organisation preferably in the transport sector
  • Experience in leading, influencing and building credibility across a range of stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications at preferably post graduate level or in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
