About WinterFlex

As we head into the winter months the demand for health care services in Canterbury increases. To help meet the seasonally demands we are seeking dedicated and experienced individuals to join our team on fixed term contracts.

Join us over the winter and take advantage of all the winter activities available in close proximity, enjoy ski fields, hiking, mountain biking, and a multitude of outdoor pursuits. Consider this your opportunity for a working holiday.

About the role

We have great opportunities for Physiotherapists to join us across the combined campuses of Christchurch Hospital and Christchurch Women's. We are an acute hospital and our Physiotherapists cover areas ranging over musculoskeletal, neurorehabilitation, cardiorespiratory, surgical, paediatrics and womens' health.

You may be fixed in one area or flexible across a range of areas. We're happy to discuss what areas interest you most and look at options that take into account your skills and experience

These WinterFlex positions are a great opportunity to try something new, whether you are looking for a new speciality, a new setting, or new city to call home this could be the doorway to your new chapter.

We have a couple of part time or full time positions that are fixed term from May 2018 to November 2018. We're open to negotiation regarding your part time or full time hours as well so please be sure to send us a covering letter that includes what you're looking for.

Skills and experience

We are looking for Physiotherapists who can hit the ground running with the energy and passion to deliver a high standard of care to patients over this time of seasonally increased workload. Working as a member of a multidisciplinary team you will need to be flexible and adaptable with an enthusiasm for knowledge sharing across and beyond your discipline.

Along with being a New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist with a current practicing certificate you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to build rapport rapidly.
