We're looking for a professional, confident and highly skilled Regulatory Administrator to join our Office of Radiation Safety (ORS) team.


This is a full time permanent role based in Christchurch


The Office of Radiation Safety is the regulatory body that administers the Radiation Safety Act 2016 and its associated regulations. It also manages New Zealand's central spent sealed source store, radiological environmental monitoring program and national preparedness and response to radiation emergencies.


ORS is reliant on this critical admin role to meet its legislative requirements. As a Regulatory Administrator it will be your job to implement and execute duties associated with the administration of the Radiation Safety Act and Regulation.


We are looking for someone who has:

  • a background in administration with a familiarity with processing of financial transactions

  • a systematic approach to work and with excellent attention to detail

  • the ability to work independently and take responsibility for parts of the process, but also as a collaborative and supportive team member

  • a good level of computer literacy and the ability to pick up new systems quickly

  • the ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities


You will thrive in a fast paced and varied environment, building and maintaining key relationships with a diverse set of people.  You will have a genuine interest in understanding the business needs and providing high quality administration support.
