Vacancies on the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal
The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal is established under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (HPCA Act). Its purpose is to adjudicate on charges of professional misconduct laid against health practitioners.
On behalf of Hon Dr David Clark, Minister of Health, we are currently seeking applications/nominations for layperson positions on the Tribunal.
Please note that applicants for layperson positions must not be, or be qualified to be, a health practitioner. If you are in doubt, please contact appointments@moh.govt.nz to determine your eligibility.
Applicants from across New Zealand are welcome.
To nominate someone, or apply yourself, the following are required:
a declaration form for the relevant position, completed by you/the nominee (attached)
a covering letter, detailing your/the nominee's experience that is relevant to the HPDT and why the position is of interest to them
a current CV.
Nominations/applications must be made using the Ministry's online Career centre and close Friday, 27 April 2018.
