Do you have the people skills, enthusiasm and practical trade know how to become a Senior Community Work Supervisor with the Community Probation Services?


As a Senior Community Work Supervisor you will be managing a caseload of offenders sentenced to community detention and community work. You will work closely with them making sure that they are meeting the conditions of their sentence or order. The role will also see you act as a mentor and coach to the community work supervisors within the wider team.


You must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and manage change. You have a willingness to learn and great problem solving skills.


The work is varied and this is a full time permanent position working from Tuesday to Saturday, hours of work are 7.30am - 4.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, with a half day on Friday 7.30am to 11.30am.  This is a Wellington District appointment based at the Community Corrections office in Kapiti.

Good communication skills are essential and a good level of computer literacy is required. A full driver licence is essential.
