Fixed Term or Secondment until end of March 2019

 

Inland Revenue's Library & Research Services team is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual looking to expand their knowledge and skills in the provision of legal information services and research.

We need a driven and passionate individual who can use their own curiosity to motivate them, someone with exceptional communication skills who enjoys the details, and who can balance processes with imagination.

As our Information Services Librarian you will have several years' experience of working in a law library or legal environment.  Experience with the NZ tax system would also be ideal.

So if you have;                

  • Career experience of working in a legal and tax environment
  • Demonstrable experience with legal print and electronic information sources
  • Relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to pick up new skills and tools
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong communication  skills
  • A strong customer services focus
