Senior Digital Advisor - Green Party Political Office

The Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand is looking for an expert of digital marketing, digital communications and digital campaigning. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a diverse and unique government.

The role

The Senior Digital Advisor is responsible for growing our online communities and building public support for the Green Party's vision and policies.

This also includes the following:

  • Writing innovative, engaging, and compelling, web content and emails to trigger action and deepen engagement
  • Developing engaging and effective supporter journeys
  • Writing digital campaign strategies for Green Party campaigns and policy launches
  • Develop the digital narrative and email story that will deepen supporter engagement in a project
  • Develop our database and segmentation to ensure that we're delivering relevant communication to our supporters
  • Provide expert advice to the Communications Team to ensure we're growing our supporter community and gaining valuable information about these supporters

You will also be responsible for our web channels and ensure they're user friendly and engaging. Advanced knowledge of NationBuilder or a similar CRM is preferred.

The Green Party aims to lead digital communications and campaigning so experience in a campaigning role is a must.

This exciting opportunity will offer you variety, challenge and will provide you with a unique insight into the political process and how Parliament operates.

This is a full time, events-based position. Some flexibility of working hours will be required according to the business of the House.
