Inland Revenue is a great place to work!  We offer flexible working hours and a friendly, supportive team environment.  We have an opportunity for a proactive Team Secretary to join our Secretarial Services team based in the Office of the Chief Tax Counsel.


As a successful applicant you will need to be highly organised with excellent administrative and secretarial skills, a good command of the English language and a talent for developing strong working relationships with people at all levels of the organisation.  This is a busy role covering a wide variety of tasks including formatting and editing of reports, updating databases and providing administrative support to our Managers and technical staff.  The team will value your advanced knowledge of the MS suite of products, your fast and accurate word-processing skills, your high attention to detail, your friendliness and your calm, can-do attitude.


To be considered for this position you should possess practical experience in a similar role and expect to perform a full range of secretarial functions, including:


  • Word-processing, formatting and proof-reading of documents
  • Creating diagrams, PowerPoint presentations, and editing of Excel spreadsheets
  • Drafting emails, letters and documents
  • Organising meetings, agendas and taking meeting minutes
  • Travel and Catering requirements
  • Updating databases
