Full-time, permanent, newly created position

Parliamentary Service has an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate technology leader to oversee the day-to-day management, monitoring and reporting on the performance of contracts and relationships with the key vendors and service providers to Parliamentary Service IST.

We would love to hear from you if you are committed to developing strong relationships with our key vendors and represent them and associated contracts through to all Parliamentary Service business units and customers. Working closely with the IST Operations Manager and the IST Service Delivery Manager, the role will ensure the IST operational delivery of products and services from the key vendors' meet the high standards expected and are delivered appropriately to all customers.

In this position, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Contractual and financial management
  • Relationship management
  • Management of agreed and contractually stipulated Service Level Agreements, Key Performance Indicators, performance metrics and reporting
  • Negotiating commercial contracts
  • Major procurement and RFP management
  • Support solution architecture and pricing

  • Ideally a minimum of ten years' experience in commercial vendor management
  • Significant experience in negotiating and managing IT contracts across a range of providers including vendors and Government organisations
  • Demonstrable relationship management skills including the ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing large Procurements including AoG processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • An innovative approach to the improvement of vendor and contract management
