About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for both a Senior Advisor and Advisor - Infrastructure Delivery.


The Advisors will be responsible for ensuring that the Ministry's infrastructure (frontline sites across the country, residence and family homes, facilities and vehicles) enables staff and stakeholders to operationally deliver and realise the Oranga Tamariki vision. 


Working closely with the Manager - Infrastructure Strategy and Delivery, the Advisors will ensure staff infrastructure related needs are understood and they are provided with, support and clear processes, to address these needs. They will manage a significant programme of infrastructure work with a focus on anticipating and planning for current and future needs of the children, young people and staff of Oranga Tamariki.


Skills and experience:

You will be customer focused, have previous advisory experience and the ability to identify how infrastructure can enable positive changes to people's ways of working, as well as home environments for tamariki.  You will be experienced at delivering and balancing multiple BAU projects and providing the discipline of planning, monitoring, coordinating and prioritising.


Outstanding relationship management skills are a must in the role and will see you build and maintain rapport across a wide range of stakeholders and communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences.
