Health and Safety Manager

New Zealand Police

Permanent, Full-Time

Salary Range $137,700 - $186,300

As the leading figure in Health and Safety you will play an influential and pivotal role in proactively telling the story around wellness and safety to ensure it is at the forefront of the organisation's mind.

With a significant change in culture across the organisation this is an exciting time to lead Health and Safety as it gains an increased focus supporting Police to maximize safety and minimize risk to all employees.

 

Given the risk profile of New Zealand Police, there is a considerable amount of interest in the wellbeing and safety of our people.

 

As the Manager, you will lead a dedicated team working collaboratively across the organisation. Most importantly you will have the ability to translate strategic intent into advice, planning and programmes of work with an emphasis on risk identification, prevention and a more integrated approach.

Your expertise in Health and Safety will be a given; your success will be based on your strong leadership and influencing skills that will not only develop relationships from a health and safety perspective but, through your story telling, take awareness to the next level.
