Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is looking to recruit a Manager to lead the Planning and Support Services team.  This is a permanent position that sits within the Sector Partnerships & Programmes (SPP) Branch. 

SPP delivers MPI's non-regulatory programmes and initiatives to promote sustainable economic growth and plays an important role in linking government with industry.

The purpose of this role is to support and lead the establishment and maintenance of the Sector Partnerships and Programmes branch's systems and processes for planning, budgeting and reporting.

To be successful in this role you will need to have strong financial expertise and be a strategic thinker, as well as have strong negotiating and influencing skills.  Exemplary relationship and people skills are also essential as stakeholder engagement is a vital component of this role. You will need to be politically savvy, have high EQ, and be self-motivated.
