You will be key member of strong and fast-paced team.  The team is a part of the Prison Capacity Build Programme which will run until December 2021, delivering on four key tranches, comprising three key programmes dedicated to delivery of capacity and a further programme aimed at initiatives to reduce growth in the prison population.

In this fast-paced operational role, you will find that no two days are ever the same. As Senior HR / IR Adviser you will be responsible for the delivery of integrated HR advice and support. You will provide a high level of advice and support to managers on people and workforce management related issues, and you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies and plans to ensure the achievement of HR / IR related objectives to support the achievement Programme and Portfolio strategies.

You will be an energetic self-starter with advanced relationship management and influencing skills.  You will have a s trong knowledge of the requirements of the ‘good employer' principle, relevant employment and other legislation and professional HR standards and practice.

A relevant qualification is required, e xperience operating within a shared services model or consulting environment would be beneficial and public sector experience would be of significant value.
