The Assistant Prison Director – Industry, Rehabilitation and Learning is a key site leadership position accountable for leading and managing the development and delivery of services related to rehabilitation, learning and employment services and opportunities for prisoners within the prison. The position is expected to support the Prison Director by leading the drive for a ‘one department', integrated and unified approach to service delivery across the range of services we provide to achieve the outcome of reducing re-offending and safer communities.

 

As a key member of the site senior leadership team, reporting to the Prison Director, the position has significant responsibility and accountability to lead and model an approach to achieving outcomes through collaboration with other senior site and region managers. The role is responsible for ensuring the development and delivery of education, employment, reintegration, treatment, health and rehabilitation services for prisoners is unified and targeted across the prison site.
