Massey Business School is seeking to appoint a part-time permanent Student Experience Administrator to be based at our Manawatu campus, in Palmerston North. In this position, you will report to the Director of Teaching and Learning, and work to support students in managing the key transitions in their student journey in order to maximise the performance, progression and retention of students in Massey Business School. You will be required to work both independently and as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • a minimum Bachelor's degree
  • a strong understanding of the university culture and student life
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills, confidence with using communication tools and social media platforms such as Skype, Facebook, Twitter, WiChat
  • a positive attitude towards diverse cultures and backgrounds.

You will also be highly competent in IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, dataset interrogation and data search, and be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite. Previous work experience in the tertiary education sector would be an advantage.
