Partnering for Outcomes Advisor, Permanent, Full Time, Hawkes Bay

About the role:

Working in our Napier team of the Partnering for Outcomes business group, the Advisor's focus is on the relationships with key stakeholders. Key responsibilities:

  • Developing strategic partnerships.
  • Providing high quality advice based on regional and national reporting data.
  • Working collaboratively with community stakeholders.
  • Service insights that assist with strategic investment planning.
  • Collating and analysing information to inform investment planning.
  • Assisting with the development of the planning processes.
  • Purchasing and costing advice.
  • Proactive problem solving approach to ensure that results are consistent with process and desired outcome.
  • Funding and contracting.


Skills and experience:

You will be an experienced advisor with a broad understanding of commissioning, market building and the social development policy issues.  You will also have:

  • A strong Māori and Pacifica focus.
  • Understanding of investment planning and contracting.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain networks and relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Confidence in the use of systems used in compiling and presenting information and reports.
  • The ability to use numbers, statistics and visuals to represent data as appropriate.
  • Sound knowledge of information gathering and reporting processes, with an appreciation of how best to apply such processes.
