What the opportunity is:

This is a unique opportunity for a talented senior leader to lead a significant work programme to deliver key priorities for the Government.

The Taskforce Manager is a key role leading the development and implementation of the public service gender pay action plan, and the management of pay equity claims across the public sector. You will be leading a cross agency team of senior advisors and specialists committed to bringing equality to the public sector.

We're looking for a credible leader to lead a complex programme of cross system work, delivering sustainable change across the public sector and influencing change beyond. The role will involve stakeholder management and working with Ministers, agency and union leaders, and broader stakeholders with a keen interest in these programmes of work.

Intersections with the ER and Diversity and Inclusion work streams will need to be carefully managed to ensure the success of all initiatives.

As Taskforce Manager you will be a key member of the Workforce and Employment Relations and broader SSC management team. You will also have a direct relationship with Ministry for Women senior leaders.
