Now is an exciting time at the Ministry of Education. We are in the midst of a positive change initiative that's setting a platform for New Zealand's young learners to be the best they can be. For this Hamilton based position we are seeking a dynamic and innovative education professional to work as a Student Achievement Function practitioner, as part of our integrated Waikato Education team, a specialist student achievement role focused on raising Maori achievement, and working primarily in Māori and dual medium kura settings.

We want to hear from you if you possess a passion for driving and lifting achievement for our children and young people, and:

  • have an in-depth understanding of factors influencing education performance and student achievement and participation, and knowledge of curriculum delivery and assessment
