Job Description

Performance Improvement Analyst required

Do you love fast-paced, deep and diverse work? Do you have an interest in improving process and customer experiences? Are you creative and diligent and have visual design skills? Do you enjoy quantitative and qualitative analysis? And do you want to work for an organisation with a great customer-centric ethos?

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority has the opportunity for you working in a team that is responsible for growing the NZQA's capability in service design and supporting the organisation to meet the expectations of its customers.

We can offer you a varied range of work that will let you uncover insights to improve the services NZQA provides. We'll need you to bring your energy, analytical grunt, creativity, ability to work at speed and with grit and perseverance. You will also bring:

  • Familiarity and experience in performance improvement concepts
  • Experience developing process maps/service blueprints or customer journeys
  • Strong analytical skills – in particular, quantitative analysis
  • Excellent conceptual and analytical skills and system thinking ability, and ability to deal comfortably with ambiguity and complexity
  • Experience working with business owners and senior managers
  • Visual design skills – e.g. developing visual dashboard reports
