Job Description

This role is part-time and for a fixed term period of three (3) years.


We are looking for an efficient administrator to provide administrative support to the Te Hiku Conservation Board.  Based in the Kaitaia Office you will be part of the Regional Administration Team supporting managers and staff around the Northern North Island Region which reaches from Kaitaia to Auckland.


We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• high level of organisation skills, the ability to deliver on time and solve problems as they arise
• fantastic communication skills – with the ability to work across a wide range of people
• skills at taking and producing high quality minutes
• proven ability to deal with confidential/sensitive material with discretion
• general office administration experience including basic accounting knowledge
• an understanding of the work of the Department and how it contributes to New Zealand's future sustainability
• an understanding of Matauranga Maori.
• thorough knowledge of Microsoft computer applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• ability to attend meetings out of town
