Can you quite simply, explain a plan? Here is the chance to help transform our Technology landscape for us, an iconic Kiwi company set for change. First and foremost, this is a strategic planning role but you also need to be practical with hands-on delivery experience.

About our role:
This role will see you as a ‘trusted advisor', working in partnership with key stakeholders on all matters API & Integration architecture related. In conjunction with the Head of Architecture you will lead the technology road map recommendations and selection, actively looking for innovative ways to improve capability and maximise return on investment. Although this role is strategic, there will be times where you need to be a little more hands on!

In this position your responsibilities will include but won't be limited to:

  • Future state and Technology Roadmaps for API and Integration development.
  • Developing principles, policies patterns and standards
  • Solution architecture guidance and support

It would be great to have some of the following:

  • A depth of experience with integration architecture in enterprise environments with some hands-on
  • Expertise with enterprise integration patterns and experience with some application and integration middleware tools e.g Mulesoft, BizTalk, Kafka
  • Sound knowledge of data and infrastructure architecture 
  • The ability to explain complex concepts in an easily understood way
  • An interest in partnering with key stakeholders and previous success with this
  • The ability to think about the short and long term impacts when making decisions and providing advice
