6-month Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity

As Manager Product and User Experience, you will be a part of the Customer Experience Leadership Team at Stats NZ. The Manager Product and User Experience is responsible for leading the development and direction of the Stats NZ website and our other customer facing digital products. Additionally, your team will represent the customer voice, to assist Stats NZ in making informed customer-focused decisions. You will lead an engaged team of User Experience Consultants, as well as marketing professionals and content specialists.

To succeed in this 6-month appointment, you will need:

  • A commitment to leadership and coaching, to help your team perform to the best of their ability
  • Experience in, or the ability to quickly establish knowledge of, product and web development processes
  • Some knowledge of User Experience practices, and a dedication to providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to represent your team and the customer at all levels of the organisation
  • The ability to think strategically and support a wider work programme as part of the Customer Experience Leadership Team

The salary range for this position is between $88,398 and $119,598 per annum, dependant on skills and experience.
