NIIO Coordinator Position (Permanent Full Time), Duty Coroner's Office, Coronial Services Unit, Ellerslie, Auckland

The Ministry of Justice provides administrative support to the Coroners of New Zealand. 

We are a small, dedicated Team working shifts around the clock to provide exceptional service to our Coroners, internal and external stakeholders and the community.

The Duty Coroner's Office operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  A full time position with us requires the flexibility to work rostered shifts.  Shifts include days, afternoons (to midnight) and midnight to 08:30.  There is a requirement that you have the flexibility to work any of these shifts on a rotating basis, including weekends and public holidays.  

To be successful in this role requires exceptional interpersonal skills that will support your work with people under diverse and sometimes sensitive circumstances.  From time to time there will be a requirement to deal with emotive material.

The salary band for this position is between $44,416 and $60,092 with a starting point of up to $52,253 dependant on experience.
