Wellington District Court – Permanent Full Time Vacancy

About the role:

The Court Registry Officer (CRO) plays a critical role in the successful operation of a Court, and will work as part of a Registry team that delivers: Quality Customer Service, Efficient and timely case progression, and Effective judicial case support.

You'll enjoy the diversity of duties ranging from liaising with relevant parties to undertaking judicial support requirements, both in and out of the courtroom – including running a courtroom and managing a caseload.

Salary range: $ 44,416-$52,253

Skills and experience required:

Calling on your previous customer service and admin experience, and talent for multi-tasking, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the Court. You're an excellent communicator with a good command of English and confidence in public speaking. You have good computer and administration skills, and have the ability to interact well with a wide range of people. You're flexible, calm, resilient, and in no way daunted by the court environment.

You must be eligible to work in New Zealand and should hold a current, clean full driver's license.
