Please note this role can either be a full time or part time position on a permanent basis at a minimum 30 hours.


This role can also be based at any site across the South Island.


The Lead Adviser Operational Performance is responsible for providing expert advice, guidance and support to frontline managers and their teams, in relation to operational performance within the region, including the maintenance of the operational plan for the region and any other specific risk assessment and/or performance measurement as required.


Key accountabilities will encompass working with the Manager Operational Performance on the development of Regional strategies and policies. You will also participate in the review of Inspectorate, Ombudsman and other reports and support the implementation of any required changes within regional sites. You will be required to lead and report on focused, thematic and other operational reviews.


You will bring with you experience in risk management frameworks and methodologies, knowledge and ability in audit review and investigation techniques and significant expertise with implementing and managing sound quality, best practice or business improvement processes.

This role requires regular travel throughout the region; a full New Zealand drivers licence is essential.


A tertiary qualification and/or significant relevant experience in a related field are highly advantageous but not essential.
