The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development is a newly formed Ministry with a responsibility for delivering the Government's ambitious housing and urban development programme to end homelessness, make room for growth in our urban centres and help create thriving communities.

This role sits within KiwiBuild group focused on delivering the programme to build 100,000 affordable homes over the next 10 years which is a key priority for the Government.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to the development, implementation, embedding and continuous improvement of the registry processes and systems
  • Contribute to the management of the register of KiwiBuild properties, which includes engaging with the Developers ensuring that they understand their obligations to add properties to the register, and then the related processes to place properties on the register
  • Work closely with the Compliance and Enforcement teams when issues are identified and working through these to resolution
  • Participate as an active team member and contribute knowledge and expertise needed to achieve KiwiBuild's outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will have had experience in ballot processing (or similar) as well as proven experience in a customer service environment including setting and measuring customer service standards as well as managing and resolving complaints.
