Are you ready to step up and take on a more senior Business Analyst role in IT?  Do you enjoy taking on new challenges and working in a busy and stimulating environment?  If so, we have the role for you!

This newly established role will offer you the opportunity to tap into your experience as a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst working in IT.   This exciting role is a functional lead one (no personnel management) and will challenge and energise you with a diversity of functions including analysing and reviewing business, technical and functional requirements.  

The Lead Business Analyst provides business analysis capability across the Ministry ICT group and other functional areas to ensure appropriate support is provided in the development and maintenance of the Ministry's operational systems.  You'll be working alongside the Service Delivery team, Business Partner and Technical team leads to articulate the needs of stakeholders.

 To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Substantial depth and breadth of experience as a practicing BA (at an intermediate level)
  • Demonstrated a significantly high level of knowledge and skill in all aspects related to the delivery of analysis outcomes
  • Set standards that raised performance and led by example in the work that you do
  • Excellent relationship management skills across a wide range of senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional technical understanding with excellent communication and social skills
  • Experience of Service Management and Service Management frameworks such as ITIL

Your proven experience in the delivery of business analysis outcomes in a complex environment alongside your ability to develop analysis capability in others will underpin your success in this role.
