Salary Range: $48,188.00 - $65,197.00

Permanent, Shift work

Typing Services is an integral part of the case management structure which provides support and contributes to delivery of Our Business to the whole of Auckland City District.


If you are a motivated individual who seeks to go above and beyond what is required to provide excellent customer service, are a real team player and are adaptable and flexible in your approach to work, then this will be an excellent opportunity for you.


Your ability to manage a high performing team, maintain relationships with internal and external groups, ensure high standards are maintained, and take control in times of stress are essential to this role.



Skills - You will be able to:

  • Be able to type at least 70 words per minute
  • Have a good understanding (through use) of Microsoft Word
  • Be familiar with WinScribe Media Player
  • Good language and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workloads
  • Demonstrated the ability to lead and manage staff and foster a high performing team.
  • Demonstrated quality decision making in work prioritisation, ensuring that a high quality of service delivery and workflow management is achieved and maintained.



Experience - You will have:

  • Previous experience dealing with sensitive material is preferred
  • Previous transcribing experience
  • Manage time effectively to meet at times high workloads and competing demands
  • Allocate and monitor the progress and quality of work in your work group
  • Lead, direct and manage the performance of individuals and/or teams to deliver Our Business
  • Identify, drive and support change management to ensure continuous improvement
