As Junior Solution Architect you will directly contribute to our vision and strategy of providing a multi-channel hybrid cloud ecosystem that will provide the next level of agility to respond to business needs and demands. The IT systems provide support to our front line who change lives and shape futures.

 

Role...

Your skills will be developed so you are a key person to ensuring that solution architectures, designs and implementation are suitable to support our core organisational functions where your technical skills and knowledge will be utilised to the full. This role is predominantly focused around the data architecture and you will be expected to be hands on and get involved in developing new data solutions and resolving existing issues. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to maintaining data models, data integrity, reference data (lookups) etc.

 

Key success factors...

To ensure your success in this key role you will bring a broad understanding across multiple disciplines such as application, data and infrastructure. You will have an appreciation of multi-tier architectures, service-oriented development and deployment with knowledge in formal architecture frameworks. You must have experience in modern object-oriented programming languages (C# preferred) and SQL (PL SQL preferred) with an understanding of modern patterns and practices.

Ideally you will also have working knowledge of bi-modal approaches which include both waterfall and agile. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with all stakeholders is a must!
